They met in April of 2018, over a turkey hunting conversation and a Miller Lite. Angie was Dave’s bartender a hand full of times. Over the next two years until Covid shut our world down their worlds collided and they only had simple “how are you” exchanges. May 17th of 2020, a ride with friends led Dave back to Angie’s BBQ for the riders. From that day, they decided to start their journey together. Today Dave is the step Dad of three more children, and Angie is the step Mom of one. Collectively they have Logan (22), Madison (19), Danyka (15), & Emma (12). They have Quinn, their Mastiff and Abby RIP Est. 10/2/12-7/5/25. They live in Halfmoon, own a restaurant in Clifton Park and both work full time jobs. Yet, they find time to spend with their families and friends. Dave unofficially proposed in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in Oct 2024, and made it official Dec 25, 2024. They live a simple and happy life and look forward to becoming husband & wife.

Madison is my oldest daughter, she is a fun loving, charismatic. independent young woman who always keeps us laughing and on our toes.  My instant best friend that is hopeful to bring on so many more adventures together.

Cathy (aka Chihuahua) has been an important part of my life since our worlds collided at church (AKA Andrea's) in 2014.   Stood, sat, and even slept by my side at my most unhealthy time of life.  She is one of best but also my dearest kindhearted thoughtful friends.  Life would not be possible without her.

Billy is Dave's adopted brother (cause who doesn't need another brother- from another mother). Dave and Angie couldn't imagine this day without him, being him!

Emma - ifykyk.........If you don't then you are missing out on the sweetest young lady I've ever known.  The smiles and dimples are simply perfect but don't be fooled because she will tell it like it is, without hesitation.   I look forward to each day I get to watch her grow into the beautiful young lady she is destined to be.

Hi, I'm DANYKA, yes Dave's my dad, no I don't want to hear your story... Miss Sassafras. also known as Dave's only CHILD!!!  Danyka holds her ground very well but can snuggle into your life with a gentleness and compassion like no other.  I am privileged to call her my stepdaughter.

Logan my first-born child and only son.  Best friend just doesn't capture it.  Our bond it nothing short of amazing and unbreakable.  He needs his Mom, but he does not know his Mom needs him more.

They say you won't meet your true love in a bar but on this one I must disagree.   We met over a Stoli O and Sprite after a long night of work for both of us.  We don't talk every day, but one call and we are there.  Life is better because of you.

Tracey and I go back to the sandbox, ok not really but theoretically yes.  The industry we worked in was competitive.  Tracey and I worked hard in the some industry yet with different companies.  However, our paths took different ways yet over the years we cultivated not only a good work relationship that turned into an amazing friendship.  We have shared the ups and downs of many chapters and I am forever grateful; for our friendship.

An acquaintance that turned into a great relationship.  One thing I get to thank covid for.   We met sometime prior to covid, however we bonded on quarantine times.  Both trying to navigate new relationships.  Many times of conversations that lasted for hours until we gained clarity on the topic at hand.
